  • Ozwater 2012, Sydney Australia, 8-10 May 2012
    The theme for this year's conference is Sharing knowledge, planning the future" and provides an
    opportunity to reflect on achievements thus far and discuss several hot topics in the sector. It will
    be held in the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre
  • Singapore International Water Week 2012, Singapore, 1-5 July 2012
    In the face of global urbanisation and climate challenges, the 2012 theme "Water Solutions for
    Liveable and Sustainable Cities" reinforces the pressing need to integrate sustainable water
    management strategies into the urban planning process. The Water Week will be held at the
    Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands

  • IWA / WHO Water Safety Conference, Kampala Uganda, 13-15 November 2012
    The Third edition of the Water Safety Conference follows two successful events, in Lisbon and Kuching.
    It aims to share experiences and exchange of knowledge of how a Water Safety Plan drives operator
    improvements and protects public health. The conference includes participation from practitioners,
    decision makers and researchers and therefore provides an excellent opportunity to reflect on recent

  • 33rd PAWD Convention, Cebu City Philippines, 8-10 February 2012
    With the theme "Sustainable Water Supply & Sanitation in Challenging Times", this conference is
    significant as water districts in the country are looking forward to the government's renewed
    commitment to address issues faced by the water industry. The convention is expected to assemble
    more than 1000 delegates
  • 6th World Water Forum, Marseille, France, 12-17 March 2012
    The goal of the 6th World Water Forum is tackle the challenges our world is facing and to bring
    water high on all political agendas. There will be no sustainable development while the water
    issues remain unsolved. Everywhere on the planet for all and everyone, the Right to Water must
    guaranteed and implemented. The Forum has developed 12 priorities amongst which a few are
    relevant to Water Safety Plans.

  • 2nd IWA Development Congress & Exhibition, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, 21-24 November 2011
    Following its predecessor in Mexico 2009, this is the 2nd IWA development Congress.
    The Congress aims to identify, showcase and debate practical experiences and examples
    of service provision in developing countries that ‘work’, and critically, ‘work at large scale’.
    The Congress is therefore explicitly solutions focused, rather than diagnosing the challenges
    and problems in the sector, which are already well documented.
  • 4th IWA-ASPIRE Conference & Exhibition, Tokyo Japan, 2-6 October 2011
    The Asia-Pacific region, also, needs to maintain and develop its sound water supply and recycling
    systems with the increasing population and the accelerating urbanization. Under these circumstances,
    the main theme of the 4th IWA-ASPIRE Conference has been set as "Toward Sustainable Water Supply
    and Recycling Systems."
  • 19th PWWA International Conference (PHILWATER 2011), Manila, Philippines, 29 – 30 September 2011
    The Philippine Water Works Association, Inc. (PWWA), the umbrella organization of the Philippine
    Water Industry will hold Philwater 2011, an international conference to showcase latest innovations
    and technology on water/wastewater management and discuss the emerging issues and concerns
    of the industry.  This year the organization has adopted “Green Technology for a Sustainable Water
    Industry” as the conference theme.
  • Pacific Water and Wastes Association Meeting Lami bay Fiji, 28-30 September 2011
    The Pacific Water Conference & Expo (PWC) is an event where the issues that drive the industry are
    discussed and future directions decided. PWC 11 will address the wide ranging issues that face the
    water industry today. PWC ‘11 will represent all sectors of the industry, integrating ideas and
    knowledge among people involved in research, regulation, consultancy, management and
    operations, drinking water, wastewater and storm water.
  • Singapore International Water Week 2011, Singapore, 4 -8 July 2011
    The Singapore International Water Week is the global platform for water solutions that brings
    policymakers, industry leaders, experts and practitioners together to address challenges, showcase
    technologies, discover opportunities and celebrate achievements in the water world. During this
    week this Asia Pacific Water Safety Plan Network website will be launched.
  • WASH Conference  Brisbane, Australia, 16 – 20 May 2011
    In 2011 practitioners and professionals from governments, donors and NGOs, students and
    academics, came together to discuss one of the greatest challenges to the water,
    sanitation and hygiene sector; sustainability. Four key themes are Functional and environmental
    sustainability; Behaviour change and social sustainability; Institutional sustainability; Financial
    sustainability.
  • Water Malaysia 2011, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 5-7 April 2011
    The theme was "Managing Water & Wastewater for Sustainable Future"and the conference
    is held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC)in Kuala Lumpur
  • The 2nd Asia Pacific Regional Water Conference & Exhibition Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 15-17March
    The theme of the 2nd Asia Pacific Regional Water Conference is "A collective approach for water"
    The Venue was the Grand Dorsett Subang Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
  • Water Matters! PAWD Convention, Davao City, Philippines, 9-11 February 2011
    This was the 32nd National convention of the Philippine Association of Water districts, which
    gave the opportunity for managers, policy makers, engineers, traders and innovators from
    the water industry to step up to their tasks.
